Microsoft is preparing to launch Windows 12 in the fall of 2024, with a wider rollout in 2025, and it is internally experimenting with several new design ideas, including a new desktop experience with a ‘floating’ taskbar. The cumulative update for Windows 10 KB5026435 is now available, and it is not a security update. Microsoft released its newest operating system, Third Moment of Windows 11 KB5026446. Microsoft wants to keep the excitement surrounding Windows 11 despite shifting to an annual release schedule for major feature updates. Moment 3 is Microsoft's latest feature preview update, and it's now available for computers running Windows 11 22H2 on machines that qualify. Optional Moments updates, which may include new features or enhancements, will be released alongside Microsoft's July Patch Tuesday update. Microsoft's intention with Moment updates is to roll out minor new features and improvements between annual releases. Being a "cumulative/monthly-style update," the revision lacks a formal moniker.
