New issues, such as printer issues, are being reported by users of the April 11th, 2023 release of Windows 10 April 2023 Update (KB5025221). Among the many issues fixed by this mandatory cumulative update is Windows' tendency to incorrectly classify USB printers as multimedia devices.

How to uninstall KB5025221 (April 2023 update)
It appears that until further notice from the tech giant, you will need to uninstall the April 2023 update from your system and pause it. Both Command Prompt and Control Panel can be used to remove Windows 10 upgrades.
